Life Steps Foundation
Life Steps Foundation (LSF) provides in-home and community-based services across the life span to those who have developmental and/or physical challenges, the frail elderly, senior citizens and disadvantaged families. Programs are also offered for parents with special needs, minority groups and other high-risk populations challenged by substance abuse, premature birth, prenatal substance exposure, child abuse/neglect and social or economic deprivation. Life Steps Foundation programs serve all ages and include infant in-home and center-based programs, social skills training for adolescents, in-home and center-based programs for adults who have developmental delays, and center-based programs for seniors.
Life Steps Foundation SoCal Adult Services
Southern California (SoCal) Adult Services provides refuge for developmentally and physically disabled adults. We help our clients develop socialization and community integration skills, teach our clients to live independent lives and achieve a quality of life with the least amount of limitations. SoCal Adult Services operates in Los Angeles and Orange counties, providing an array of program that include Independent Living Skills, Supportive Living Services, and the Seaside Learning Center.
LSF Central CA Adult Services
Central California Adult Services (CCAS) programs help adults living with severe disabilities avoid premature institutionalization by teaching them life skills, providing them with in-home assistance, and supporting them to live independently in their own communities.
LSF Children and Family Services
Children and Family Services (CAFS) works to maximize the development of infants and toddlers who are at risk of developmental delays by providing education and support for parents. CAFS assists families with a variety of programs such as in-home infant development, developmental evaluation, inclusive 1:2 center-based infant development program, pediatric therapeutic services, and comprehensive parenting programs.
