Subscribers use e-CYREN to record and maintain vital information for quick and easy access 24/7 anywhere internet is available.
Electronic Medical Records (EMRs) are used by hospitals and physician offices, but not accessible to other caregivers and family members. e-CYREN, on the other hand, is available to all authorized caregivers who are empowered to contribute information that can be instrumental in saving lives or reducing injuries to you or a loved one.
For organizations, e-CYREN is used to communicate emergency contact and vital medical information between authorized professional and personal care team members.
One of our subscribers from California explained how she used her e-CYREN account to keep her son’s pediatrician, school nurse, and allergy and asthma specialist informed of her son’s ever changing medical condition and behavior. Although her pediatrician and asthma specialist belonged to the same health system and shared information through an EMR, the information was not readily available to others that needed to know what to do if her son had an asthma attack. She found using e-CYREN allowed her to keep track of the frequent changes to her son’s medication, document when and where immunization shots were received, and generate a list who to contact in an emergency. She also noted that she would often log in to e-CYREN from home or work to update her son’s information after a doctor visit and email a copy to her parents, who often served as babysitters for her son.
Our California subscriber has peace of mind knowing that in an emergency accurate and legible vital information is available to share with first responders and other health care providers.
