About CYJ Enterprises, LLC


CYJ Enterprises, LLC was founded in 2006 and is a dynamic and innovative information technology company recognized for providing client and collaborative software, consulting services and emergency management training to improve the quality of life for individuals served by our customers. We are the innovators of e-CYREN, a robust, secure and user friendly collaborative case and emergency management system created for families and service organizations.

The founder, Carole Y. Johnson, created e-CYREN after watching painlessly the devastation associated with Hurricane Katrina. It was extremly sad to see the number children that were displaced from their parents for months on end and the loss of the elderly who were intentionally left in a nursing home to die. Two of our most vulnerable populations were hit the hardest during this unfortunate incident. Carole quickly realized that families and those caring for our children, disabled, and seniors do not have the necessary infrastructure to quickly communicate, coordinate or collaborate with other organizations when time is of essence.  And it doesn't take a Hurricane Katrina to change a person's or families' life forever. Something as common as a house fire, a fire at a day care center, or a mass evacuation of a senior living facility can be a life altering experience for everyone involved. While these types of events cannot be stopped, having access to critical information, participating in collaborative relationships and being prepared could mean the difference between life and death.

e-CYREN was born out of that need to provide access to vital information to care and service providers before, during and after an emergency. While that need still remains, it became abundantly clear there was a greater need to share client information routinely, securely and seamlessly across organizations that provide services to our most vulnerable populations, especially with organizations that have multiagency relationships to provide continuum services to interrelated clients.

e-CYREN was designed from the ground up to be a collaborative system for sharing medical and general information with HIPAA privacy and security regulations as the foundation of our security infrastructure. e-CYREN for Families is available free of charge for families to maintain critical information in case of an emergency .

e-CYREN for Agencies was built for organizations that will benefit from e-CYREN such as human and social services, behavioral health, mental health, foster case, child welfare, specialized housing programs and other service agencies. e-CYREN is a fully web-based enterprise software that is used to better deliver services by improving clinical records, medication history, practice management, scheduling, emergency notification and reporting.

e-CYREN fills the communication vacuum  that exists between organizations that are charged with improving the quality of life of their clients.  e-CYREN helps to eliminate the technology barriers often contributed to the break-down in collaborative efforts.
